What we Think: The XX-005 fit from PBJ is a staple in the Japanese denim world. The jean is a mid-rise, slim-straight fit and features PBJ's usual blue line selvedge, button fly, hidden rivets and embroidered Shoai leaf emblem on the back pocket. This jean was crafted using PBJ's signature 140z slubby denim and will reveal beautiful character as the jean is worn and washed. Note: this jean is unsanforized and should, as a result, be washed before wearing with the expectation that it will shrink-to-fit.
Wash: Raw Indigo
Fit: Slim straight.
Sizing: We recommend sizing up two sizes to account for both the Japanese sizing and the aforementioned shrink-to-fit nature of the fabric.
Inseam: 36” inseam, though the inseam will shrink about 2 inches after the initial soak. Avoid hemming until after the first soak has been done.
