Why We Love It: The Lightweight Recycled Selvedge Stone Blue is an 11oz Japanese Selvedge denim made with a unique and eco-friendly method of recycling denim. In this process denim is shredded and mixed with undyed cotton then spun into new yarn. This yarn is used to make the jeans and is what gives the Lightweight Recycled Selvedge its distinctive color, one that can only be achieved with this method and through dying alone. Woven on vintage shuttle looms in Okayama, Japan the denim has a classic raw rigid texture.
