Iron Heart - 634S-SBG 21oz- Superblack (Fades To Grey)

What we Think: Iron Heart's straight cut jean, made out of 21oz "Super Black Fades to Grey" (SBG) selvedge denim. This denim has a black sulphur dyed warp and a black reactive dyed weft. With time the warp will fade but the weft won't. It is heavy, tough, yet soft and extremely breathable. Because of the double twisted weft construction, this denim moulds to an individual's body shape like no other denim.

• Black sulpher-dyed warp / black reactive-dyed weft
• Right hand twill weave
• The warp (outward face of the fabric) will fade to grey through wear and washing, while the fade resistant weft (internal face of the fabric) will remain black
• Traditional straight cut, inspired by the 1966 Levi’s 501
• Medium Rise
• Straight leg profile with a slight taper from knee to hem
• Wider leg opening to accommodate most types of boots and footwear
• Classic 5-pocket design
• Traditional 3-button fly
• IH branded tack button at waistband 
• Works Inc branded pocket rivets 
• Hidden rivets on rear pockets 
• Poly cotton stitching for increased strength 
• Single and double needle chain stitch construction
• heavy cotton pocket bags and lined rear pockets
• Selvedge Id present on sideseam, fly, and coin pocket
•  Sanforized and one-washed to reduce further shrinkage
• Wash inside out at 30 degrees celcius with a low, or no spin cycle to avoid marking the denim. Hang to dry, do not tumble dry
• The waist will stretch out approximately 1" with wear, all over dimensions that are put under pressure with stretch proportionately.  
• Final two photos used provide examples of how the denim will age with intense wear and washing (years worn & washes done unknown)

Fit: Traditional straight cut, medium rise, straight leg profile with a slight taper from the knee to hem. Wider leg opening to accommodate most types of boots and footwear. 

Sizing: We suggest going up up to two sizes from North American vanity sized denim, as these jeans are Japanese-sized (where the waist measures to the same as the tag size typically). If you'd like measurements, please reach out to us at online@dutildenim.com.

Orders being shipped to the United States are not exempt from "tariffs", however, the "de minimis exemption" allows for orders under $800.00 USD to enter the United States tax & duty free. 

The current administration in the United States is attempting to remove the "de minimis exemption", which if successful, would result in our US based customers paying a 25% tariff, sales tax, and brokerage.

No word yet on when this change may take place. All fees related to tariffs, duties, and brokerage are the responsibility of the customer.

We offer shipping through Canada Post, UPS, FedEx, and Purolator. Please allow 2 to 3 business days for order processing. Orders that require hemming may take an additional 2 to 3 days. For in-store pickup, verify stock availability under the 'find in store' tab. If stock needs to be transferred between stores, please note that processing will take an extra 7 business days.

Shipping costs for Canada are $22, with free shipping on orders over $400. Express shipping is available for $31. In the United States, regular shipping is $30, while express shipping is $40. For all orders in Alaska and Hawaii, a flat rate of $50 USD applies.

Please note that all shipping fees are listed in Canadian Dollars, are non-refundable, and free shipping rates apply to the pre-tax amount.
