What we Think: The 777 fit from Iron Heart sees the brand at their most modern. Unlike Iron Heart's (usually) heritage-inspired and moto-catered fits, the 777 is a slim, tapered leg with a low - medium rise. Similarly out of character, the fit is being introduced in a 14oz fabric—Iron Heart's lightest ever weight. Still, this jean features all of the details we've all come to expect from the brand: Japanese construction on heritage, American machines, lined rear pockets, a button fly and selvedge detailing. This indigo jean has been overdyed (dyed a second time) in a black-sulphur dye; with wear and wash it will begin to reveal the indigo character underneath the black dye. The overdying process also guarantees that the jean will shrink marginally, if any, in the wash. What Iron Heart has done with this jean is bring their usual eye for detail and second-to-none construction to a jean silhouette that will please, well, pretty much anyone.
Wash: "Overdyed Black"; a blue jean was placed in a vat of black dye.
Fit: A slim taper fit. Similar fits include: N&F SSG and RGT Stanton.
