Spray On and Move: Show Off Your Best Queen Bey Moves at dutil. Toronto
Dutil. Toronto is thrilled to host a collaborative event between two groundbreaking companies. On Saturday, August 27, our guests will be treated to hip hop performances by the dance experts from RSVP 33. They’ll be demonstrating some serious Beyonce moves in Cheap Monday’s new Spray on Jeans, their stretchiest, tightest and most comfortable denim to date.
We were inspired to throw this celebration after years of admiring Cheap Monday and RSVP33 – both organizations have reinvented the standards of their respective industries. Cheap Monday was founded in March 2004 by Örjan Andersson with the mission to “deliver great quality fashionable jeans at a great price – the antithesis of the high priced ‘super-premium’ jeans that were starting to dominate at the time.” Today Cheap Monday offers full, bold collections in 2000 of the best boutiques and stores throughout the world.
Fast forward to nine years later in Vancouver, where a group of choreographers and creatives formed RSVP 33 – they offer dance classes to students of all levels who share a love for movement, community, empowerment, and growth. Students are encouraged to channel their inner Sasha Fierce in the most supportive and adventurous atmosphere. Both Cheap Monday and RSVP 33 were born in response to the needs of their communities and we are excited to celebrate their ethos and achievements through this electrifying event. We look forward to seeing you all at our Toronto shop, 704 Queen Street West, on August 27, from 1-4 pm (dance demos begin at 2 pm). All ages are welcome, admission is free and the good times will be aplenty.
