Women’s Fall Fashion 2013
This Fall, it is evident that the motorcycle chic look is reigning supreme. With leather details showing up in unexpected places, the “bad girl” look is as easy as pulling on a t-shirt and pair of jeans with leather knee details, or pairing a leather sleeved jacket with a little black dress. You don’t think you can pull off the “bad girl” look, but want to participate in the trend? Try pairing denim and leather articles with a softer, more feminine piece, such as silk blouse.
It is becoming obvious that prints are here to stay. Wearing your printed jeans with a solid coloured top can make the trend very wearable on a daily level. Ballsier girls can pair their printed legs with a printed top in a complimentary colour family. When pairing prints, it is best to balance the busyness of the look by using one small print and one large print so the two don’t compete.
Another major trend we are seeing is the double denim look. Whether you wear a pair of jeans and a chambray shirt, or a denim dress with a jean jacket, it is easy to participate in this look. The only caveat; try to wear two different denim washes together. A black pair of jeans is nicely paired with an indigo denim jacket, and dark wash jeans look great with a light wash denim shirt. Two pieces in the same tone can look a little too Canadian tuxedo-y.
