Belle of the Festival: Summer Looks from Jackson Rowe
Late night campfires, spontaneous road trips, day-long bike rides, yoga on the beach, drinks on the patio – we wrap ourselves in these simple pleasures during those precious summer months. Vancouver designer Julia Hoover channels these humble yet magical moments in her line of rustic-chic scarves and accessories.
The romantic and comforting aesthetic of Jackson Rowe was sparked by the love story of Hoover’s grandparents, Jack and Rose. She explains, “He would ask her on dates by writing invitations from song lyrics. She was his biggest fan, watching his shows night after night, enjoying each & every minute. She loved to laugh at his jokes, and she listened intently to his stories. Their love story, my inspiration.”
Jackson Rowe’s floating and ethereal pieces are a perfect reflection of a season where days are longer, every second appears brighter, and adventures seem endless.
